ALFRED W. BILLINGSLEY ZANESVILLE Alfred W. Billingsley, 74, of 3380 Riverside Airport Road, died at 3:21 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 1994, at his residence. Mr. Billingsley was born May 6, 1919, in Columbus. He was a retired head mechanic and maintenance supervisor for Sidwell Brothers. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the United Mine Workers and Operating Engineers. Mr. Billingsley had lived in Zanesville for the past 20 years. Surviving are one daughter, Jean Williams of Arp, Texas; three sons, James Billingsley of Craig, Alaska, and John Billingsley and Jeff Billingsley of Far-mington, N.M.; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several sisters and brothers. Preceding him in death were his parents, James Edward and Goldie Miller Billingsley; and his wife, Dorothy J. Billingsley, who died April 21, 1990. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. There will be no services. Memorial services will be at a later date.
