William J. Eddy Called By Death William Jasper Eddy, 73, of Corning, died in the hospital at New Lexington Tuesday morning at 7:30 o'clock. The deceased, a coal miner, was a native of Vinton county, being born Oct, 1, 1870. Surviving the deceased are his wife, Vada; four sons, Patrick of Columbus; Gerald, who is stationed with the U. S. Army in New Guinea; Benjamin with the army in Arkansas, and Bert of Columbus; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Wolf of Logan; Miss Lena Eddy of Co lumbus, and Mrs. John Workman of Columbus; two brothers, Wil Ham of Wei 1st one and Charles of Chauncey; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Blackford of Chauncey, Mrs. Ella Miller of Redfield and Mrs. Stella Wilson of Wellston. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the J. G. Blower funeral home in Coming, with Rev. Guy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the Millerton cemetery.
