Resigns Post With Red Cross Miss Louise Claudy of 315 Eppley avenue, home service secretary for the Muskingum county chapter of American Red Cross has resigned her position, it was announced yesterday. Miss Claudy has been setving as home service secretary for the past two months, and for the preceding five years was executive secretary.

The resignation is to take effect on Dec. 1. Her plans for the future are indefinite, Miss Claudy said. Mrs. Marie Wickware is present executive secretary of the Muskingum county chapter.

AT FRAZEYSBURG Representatives of the Muskincounty AAA office will make dairy feed payments to eligible producers at the Jackson township hall in Frazeysburg from 9:30 a. m. to 4 p. m. Friday.

More Money For Airport Fund H. E. Horne, supervisor of airways for the Civil Aeronautics Authority at, Chicago, notified Mayor Tom yesterday that an $150,000 had been appropriated for the construction of the new municipal airport here. The additional money, Horne said, is to finance the building of heavier runways than at first proposed. The original appropriation for the local project was $1,151,700 a and the addition makes the sum to be expended $1,301,700.

The N. E. Daugherty Construetion company, in charge of the work at the airport was notified some time ago of the change in plans, and the necessary extension of time was allowed. A. four-inch layer of crushed stone is to be added to the base, providing a total thickness of 21 inches.

This is to allow heavier aircraft to utilize the field.
