4-B THE TIMES RECORDER THURSDAY, OCT. 26, 1972 Charles E. Harris Dies At 81 Charles E. Harris, 81, of 731 Westborne avenue, owner and operator of the old Harris Pharmacy, died at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, in Bethesda Hospital where he had been a patient since Monday.

He had been in ill health for 12 years, Born June 24, 1891, in Zanesville, he was son of Frank and Florence Palmer Harris and spent his lifetime in Zanesville. Mr. Harris owned and operated the Harris Pharmacy on Underwood street until February 1958 when he sold it to his son in law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Winsley who moved it to Greenwood avenue in 1970.

He retired in 1959. He was a member of the Central Trinity United Methodist Church and was a veteran of World War I. Mr. Harris was a member of Lodge of Amity 5, Chapter 9 and Council 12. Surviving are his widow, Bertha Miller Harris; one son, Don E.

Harris of North Canton; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Beverly) Gatton of Knoxville, Mrs. Thomas (Rowena) Winsley of Brookside drive, Route 4 and Mrs. Richard (Mary Lou) Krofft of 447 Yale avenue; two brothers, Frank Harris of Thompson Run road and Russell Harris of 737 Luck avenue; 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday at the Blue Avenue p.m. Chapel of Bolin Funeral Home. Mount Service Services for Mrs. Eunice Ross Mount, 86, of Norwich Route 1, who died Tuesday, will be held p.m. Friday at Shirer and Funeral Home in Adamsville.

Mount was born May 9, 1886, in Madison township and was a life long resident of the area. She was a member of the Otsego United Methodist Church and was first married to Clarence Ross who died in 1952, and later to septembernt who died in 1965." Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Treasure) Utsler of Norwich Route 1, Mrs. Charles (Kathleen) Stoops of Route 1 and Mrs. Robert (Hazel) Keyes of Dresden Route a son, Merwyn Ross of Mansfield; two step daughtersier Ernice (Clarabelle) of Dresden Route 2 and Mrs.

Robert (Florence) White of Columbus; a step son, Weldon Mount of Dresden; six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and eight step grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ronald Stoops, Richard Stoops, Rodney Stoops, Hayes Stricker, Ernest Minner and Weldon Mount. Mrs. Bessie Lewis Mrs. Bessie Blanche Lewis, 84, of 446 Van Horn avenue, died at 5 a.m.

Wednesday at Good Samaritan Center where she had been a patient for the past seven weeks. She had been in failing health for the past three and one-half months. Mrs. Lewis was born Nov. 25, 1887 in Zanesville, a daughter of Lillard and Mary Snyder Butler.

She was a resident of Zanesville all her life. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a charter member of its Olive Branch Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband, Roy N. Lewis; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Dick of New Lexington; a son, Charles E.

Lewis of the home and a brother, Charles Butler of the Abbott Home for Men; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. One sister preceded her in death. The body was taken to the Blue Avenue Chapel of Bolin Funeral Home where friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Friday. Gerald Price Gerald (Dick) Price, 65, of Cherry lane, Crooksville, a retired employe of the old Crooksville China Company, died at 1:30 p.m.

in Bethesda Hospital where he was admitted during the morning. He had been ill several years. Born Jan. 20, 1907, in Crooksville, he was the son of Thomas and Maggie Tracy Price. Mr.

Drumm died Tuesday. Charles Middaugh Sr. Charles M. Middaugh 79, of Junction City Route 1, a retired oil field worker, died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Good Samaritan Medical Center where he had been a patient since Oct.

16. He had been ill five years. A life resident of Perry County, he was born Aug. 18, 1893, the son of Jasper and Florence Spitzer Middaugh. Mr.

Middaugh was a of Calvary United Methodist Church in New Lexington. was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow. Edna: five sons, Walter and Charles Middaugh both of Junction City Route 1, Carl Middaugh of New Lexington, Paul Middaugh of Kearny, and Dwight ac New Lexington; two daughters, Mrs. William (Edith) Musick of Junction City and Mrs.

Richard (Myrtle), Ewing of Malverne; 24 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, Wayne, three brothers, William, Russell and Earl are deceased. Friends may call at Roberts Funeral Home New Lexington after 7 p.m. today. Additional obituaries on Page 10-C.
