Deaths Funerals Springfield. (Karen) Perkins of Walnut Owen DAYTON Robert Owen, 66, 2125 Kipling drive, a native of Shawnee, died Sept. 1 in Good Hospital in Dayton had been a Samaritane patient for three weeks. Mr. Owen was born May 14, 1909, and was a member of the Masons in Dayton.

Surviving are his widow, Jean; three daughters, Frances, Dorothy and Nancy, the son, Robert, of three homeomone brothers, Frank of Crooksville Route 2, William of Dayton and Don of Columbus; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Orndorf of Dayton, Mrs. June Duncan of Lawrenceburg, and 1 Mrs. Lillian Kennedy of Golden, Colo. Service will be held at 11 a.m.

Thursday in the Whitmer Brothers Funeral Home in Dayton where friends may call Courthouse News CoalSettlementSought Agnes Beisser of South River road filed suit Tuesday in kingum County Common Pleas Court against Globe Natural Company and John A. Kaye, both of Marietta. She claims in March and April Globe took coal samples from, property Township to belonging determine to her the quality. Tuesday at Bethesda Hospital after a month illness. Mr. Carter was born Oct. 1, 1922 in Zanesville and was employed for 25 years, as maintenance man Lee Jewelers. Surviving are a sister, Mrs.

Annabell Cromwell of the home and a brother, Howard of Maple avenue. The body was taken to Hillis Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Service will be held at 1 p.m Thursday, Sept. 4 with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Maul Carter Virgil Maul, 69, of Lancaster, former Zanesville resident, died at 6:50 Tuesday at Lancaster-Fairfield Hospital after a year-long illness. Mr. Maul was born Oct. 5, 1905 in Chillicothe and had lived in Zanesville before moving to Lancaster several years ago. He was a retired employe of the Prudential Insurance Company.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Lancaster, the Masonic Lodge, Tahre Shrine Club, Aladdin Temple, Scottish Rites and the Lancaster Kiwanis Club. Creek, three, sons, Nicholas of Marion, Michael of Groveport and Charles of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren and a brother, Howard Maul of Dayton. The body was taken to the Halteman-Fett Funeral Home at Lancaster where friends may call from 2 to 4 and p.m. today and until time for service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept.

4 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Rose Cemetery at Lancaster. Dayton Service for Lloyd A. Dayton, Baker street, who died Sunday, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept.

4 at DeLong and Baker Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Hickman Mary E. Hickman, 80, of East Ridge, formerly of Cumberland area, died Monday at East Ridge. She was born in Muskingum County. Survivors include a son, Dwight Hickman of East Ridge, three grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Tom Funeral at Cumberland. Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery. may call 7:30 to 9 p.m. today.
